Studio Friday-shine and shimmer

Shiny paint pots are the first things that came to mind when I saw this weeks studio Friday. I use these disposable muffin tins to mix paint in and thin it out. The paint shimmers when I add different mediums to it. I also like these colors together.

Christina, the light is such that I thought they were poking out instead of indented. Very wild effect. Nice shot. :-)

Ok, this is such a great idea. I feel like a dork now, for not having thought of this sooner or at least something similar! I use my kitchen plates (they are white restaurant style ones) to paint off and then I have to soak them for hours so I can reuse them.

Clever, clever, clever. Great job on this weeks theme.

Cool colors -- and smart use of tins. Sparkle and color all in one.
