Spotted-illustration Friday

When I think of spotted, I think of my dog Sam. This is a detail from a painting that I am working on, and Sam just happens to be a part of the composition. I thought I'd add a picture of Sam as well. He is an English Pointer...Not a Dalmation and he loves the camera!

Hi Chris, spotted can a dog be? Just like Sam....he is so gorgeous in all his lovely spots....

Hello Sam. Animals always make fine subject matter. I really like the looseness of your style here--very liberating to paint this way I'd imagine.

This is delightful! I really like your use of color and broad lines - the painting below has such wonderful energy! You've really captured Sam's "dogginess" through simple line and gesture. Well done!
